Biohazard Boxes

Due to the new UN3373 regulations enforced since mid 2003, bio-hazardous samples must be transported in a specialist container, in which they are packed following P650 and P620 standards.
With deltaT´s BiohazardLogisticBox +4°C and –18°C your bio-hazardous samples can be safely transported around the globe. The required temperature is maintained and the 4°C samples are also protected against freezing.

The outer aluminium box is constructed according to the ADR 6.2 bio-hazardous specifications and can be used in conjunction with deltaT‘s other packaging products. The box is suitable for diagnostic specimens and viroloical materials and complies with WHO classifications for diagnostic samples and bacterial cultures.

Outer Dimensions:
Length: 385mm Width: 285mm Height: 343mm

The inner box protects the samples against heat and jolts. Increased insulation properties are achieved as the box is made of Neopor® which also enables longer transportation.

The construction of deltaT´s BioHazardLogisticBox fulfills the following international specifications: ADR, RID, IMDG Code, UN, ICAO TI as well as IATA, which also requires that the primary packaging i.e. the test tubes must be able to withstand a pressure of 95 kPA .The temperature maintained simply depends on the temperature of deltaT‘s elements you use e.g. –18°C or +4°C.

Alternatively a cardboard box that fulfils the requirement of the P650 standards can be used.
